Work > Leaf + Color Studies

This is my latest collection, released early 2018. It is inspired by the early 20th century work of Frenchman, Eugene Alain Seguy, whose botanical prints and patterns mesmerize me with their daring color combinations.

There are many plants I find interesting to draw due to an interesting leaf, fruit, seed, or flower: radicchio, cineria, sanchezia, rhododendron, cashew, linden, and more. I enjoyed experimenting heavily with dynamic contrasting color combinations.
